Delve into the heart of Arthur!
this is a truly unique opportunity to go inside the oldest working antenna in the world, which is now a Grade II listed building. Affectionately known
as "Arthur", this iconic satellite dish is visible for miles around and is situated on the beautful Lizard Peninsula.
This tour is a technical guided tour looking at the internal workings of the dish including the massive 3 ton chain that gently moves the 1100 ton dish and the opportunity to climb onto the restricted apron.
We will provide suitable hard hats, boots and high vis jackets during the tour.
There is a charge for this tour. Height restrictions apply, tours dependent on weather conditions as external access is required. Restricted disabled access. As Arthur is a working dish, tours may be cancelled at short notice.
Arthur tours can be booked at the main information kiosk inside the visitors centre.
